HomeMy WebLinkAbout14. 21-382JULY 27, 2021 21-382 RESOLUTION (CARRIED__6-0____LOST________LAID OVER________WITHDRAWN________) PURPOSE: APPROVE SPECIAL EVENT / FRIENDS OF THE OSHKOSH SENIORS CENTER / UTILIZE SOUTH PARK FOR THE FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY EVENT / AUGUST 20, 2021 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to Friends of the Oshkosh Seniors Center (Eric Lehocky) to utilize South Park on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Food Truck Friday event in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City’s actual costs for extraordinary services. Cost Estimates for Extraordinary Services Fire Department Inspections $62.73 (preliminary estimate includes 1 hrs. for fire inspections) Police Department Staffing $30.12 (preliminary estimate includes 2 dedicated CSO hrs. for set-up/tear- down of no parking signs) Equipment/Vehicle $16.05 (preliminary estimate includes dedicated use of a police vehicle for 2 hrs. for the set-up/tear-down of no parking signs) Supplies $16.50 (preliminary estimate includes use of no parking signs)
