Building permit wanted to: (closed-in)
Remove existing deck (10' x 14'), and build a screened-in porch with a roof
(12' x 12'), and an enclosed area underneath for storage;
The deck will exist of 2x8 green treated floor joists, 4x4 green treated posts
setting on 10" square pillars of portland concrete poured 4' in the ground,
decked with 3/4" tongue & glued decking, finished with indoor/outdoor carpeting;
The sidewall construction will be 2x4, 16" on center with 5/8"� 4'x8' cedar
siding, and closed in with white storms, 2' overhang on the_sides. 1 ' overhang
on the gable end (both of cedar construction);
The roof, wi11 consist of 2x6 2' on center tied in to 2x6 ceiling joists Z'
on center, 2x4 colar ties, 2x8 ridge, 2x8s Iayed falt on house roof to set
valley jacks on, 7/16 waferboard sheating with plywood clips, IS# felt�
20 yr. asphalt sealdown shingles;
The inside is to remain unfinished but sealed from the w�ather;
The stairs is to constructed of all green treated materials;
The storage underneath (about 90" clearance) is to be on a 4" concrete slab
with the outside walls being constructed of 2x6 24" on center, and 5/8", 4'x$'
cedar siding, with a pre-hung steel door.
This is being constructed for $4000.00
