PURPOSE: APPROVE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN OUTDOOR STORAGE
AREA AND PARKING AT 3135 OREGON STREET
INITIATED BY: OSHKOSH CORPORATION
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved w/conditions
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission finds that the Conditional Use Permit to allow an
outdoor storage area and off-site parking lot at 3135 Oregon Street, is consistent with the criteria
established in Section 30-382(F)(3) of the Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh
that a conditional use permit to allow an outdoor storage area and off-site parking lot at 3135
Oregon Street, per the attached, is hereby approved with the following conditions:
1. All outdoor storage areas must be completely enclosed by 8 foot tall solid (at least 90%
opaque) fencing. Owner/Applicant shall submit code-compliant, revised fencing
specifications/details to staff for Department of Community Development review prior to
building permit issuance.
2. Conditional Use Permit to allow the proposed total of 88 parking spaces in excess of 125
percent of the minimum parking count required by ordinance.
3. Petitioner shall submit a revised landscaping plan with code-compliant species and code-
compliant landscaping point totals for Department of Community Development review
prior to building permit issuance.
4. Petitioner shall submit a revised, code-compliant photometric plan to staff for
Department of Community Development review prior to building permit issuance.
