Aging & Resources Supervisor, act as County's Older Americans Act Director (July, 2019 – Present) / Winnebago County Human Services •Lead the Aging & Resources Team including elderly benefits, disability benefits, and adult protective services programs, to ensure the provision of quality services and programs for residents. •Provide oversight of Federal Older Americans Act funding to include nutrition, wellness & caregiver programs, transportation grants, and promote volunteer services with community partners. •Active in community collaboration with local law enforcement, EMS, residential facilities, hospitals, social security, and other agencies to prevent abuse, financial mismanagement, and coordinate necessary services for Elder Adults & Adults At Risk. •Facilitate Winnebago County's Elder & Adult At Risk Interdisciplinary Team (I Team) Collaboration. •Responsible for qualitative & quantitative standards of performance to ensure vulnerable adults, families, and caregiver benefit from quality services. •Responsible for additional community grant partnerships with local non profits, YMCAs, UW-Extension, Elder Abuse funds and more. •Coordinate Human Services student initial placement within Child Welfare, Long Term Care, Behavioral Health, and Family Services Units. •Educate and provide outreach to local community organizations, local employers and agencies regarding caregiver support programs, education resources, and long term care program options through the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC).
