INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that approval is granted to Father Carr’s Place 2 B (Sherri Ziemer) to utilize city
streets: Robin Way, N. Koeller Street, and Oshkosh Avenue on Saturday, June 5, 2020 from
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the Father Carr’s Bridge Walk in accordance with the municipal
code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions:
A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer
shall pay the City’s actual costs for extraordinary services. Approval of this request shall
not be interpreted as approval to conduct the event during any period of emergency order
or declaration prohibiting such event. Approval of this event shall not be interpreted to
supersede any emergency order or declaration applicable to such event and all events shall
remain subject to all applicable ordinances, orders, declarations and requirements for
public gatherings.
Cost Estimates for Extraordinary Services
Police
Staffing $220.16 (preliminary estimate includes 4 CSO hrs. & 1 Supervisor Sgt. hr.)
Equipment/Vehicle $32.10 (preliminary estimate includes 4 hrs. dedicated vehicle use)
Supplies/Materials $11 (preliminary estimate includes dedicated use of cones)
