Will review and report status of grants at the end of 1st quarter/2021. 11/12/2019 Finance & Public Works Study the feasibility of creating "Lifeline" rates for base level utility usage "Lifeline" rate option to be included in next rate application.4/1/2021 2/25/2020 City Manager Transitional Housing (1105 Jefferson)Proposed ordinance is on the 2/23/21 Council agenda for first reading. 3/9/2021 Representatives of residents received a copy of the proposed ordinance. Discussion with legislators about residents concerns with DOC's contract with Triniteam is on the 3/11/21 agenda. 4/28/2020 Community Development Assistance for Landlords and Tenants during COVID Emergency Council resolution supporting emergency rule sent to DATCP.3/31/2021 ADVOCAP continues to administer rental assistance program with funds from State and Federal funding. Eviction Moratorium extended through 3/31/21. The City has allocated part of the City’s CDBG CARES for Rental Assistance. ADVOCAP reports that the State of Wisconsin has approximately $400 million for rental assistance that ADVOCAP will be able to use, along with other municipalities throughout the state. We are awaiting criteria definitions regarding distribution of funds. 6/9/2020 City Manager Community Conversations to address racism City Manager seeking contacts to initiate discussions with community leaders to identify next steps 4/1/2021 8/4/2020 City Manager & City Attorney Mask Ordinance Proposed ordinance on agenda for first reading.3/9/2021 Staff is monitoring the ongoing dispute between the Legislators and Executive Branch on state wide order. Staff is also monitoring County mask order. 1/1/2021 City Manager Identify and pursue opportunities for the city to provide support for short and long- term solutions to reduce and end homelessness Working with Day by Day shelter and other community partners on new approaches to address homelessness . 4/1/2021 1/1/2021 City Manager Continue incorporating equity and inclusion into the day-to- day operations and structures of the Oshkosh city government.
