Decker 1113 Oregon Street Oshkosb~ WI 54902- Re: IA Addition to Patriarchs Subdivision Dear Mr, Decker: Per our discussion on July 3, 2003, I have reviewed our files per the concerns you addressed to the city manager. I have the following comments: 1. The l~ngineering Division of the Department of Public Works reque~ed additional corrections for your project plans on September 10, 2002 (sec attached). We did not receive a response from Gremmer & Associates, Inc. until after June 1 I, 2003. 2. Gremmer & Associates were notified on September 10, 2002 that a drainage swale grade of 0.75% was required versus their design submittal of 0.5%. 3. There is no significant difference in distance for a water main loop from Isaac Lane to US Hwy. 45 between Lot I and Lot 2 (272 feet) versus a loop from Isaac Lane to Myrna Jane Drive (292 to 319 feet), See attached plan sheets for comparison. Proper looping of water mains in this subdivision provides the benefits of improved fire flows and minimization of water quality problems. Also, water main construction between Lot 1 and Lot 2 would conflict with the landscape mound you have constructed in this area. It is my understanding that the Building Inspection Division of the Department of Community Development will be able to issue a building p~rmit for your 4-unit building after a variance has been granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals at their July 23r~ meeting.
