PURPOSE: AMEND PARKING ORDINANCE FOR P-2 CONVENTION
CENTER NORTH PARKING LOT AND THE P-09 OTTER LOT
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING APPENDIX 27B
OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO REGULATIONS IN
MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Appendix 27B of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to P-2
Convention Center North and P-09 Otter Lot are hereby amended per the attached maps.
The purpose of the amendment is to identify the leased stalls within the lot.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, publication and placement of the appropriate signage.
SECTION 3. Publication Notice. Please take notice that the City of Oshkosh enacted
ordinance #20-316 AMEND PARKING ORDINANCE FOR P-2 CONVENTION CENTER
NORTH PARKING LOT AND THE P-09 OTTER LOT (A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING APPENDIX 27B OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL
CODE PERTAINING TO REGULATIONS IN MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS) on July 14,
2020. The purpose of the updated maps is to identify which stalls are leased in the
parking lot after recent reconstruction of the lots.

RE. Approve amendment to parking ordinance for the Convention Center north and
Otter Street parking lots.
BACKGROUND
The Convention Center North parking lot was reconstructed in 2019 and the Otter Street lot
was reconstructed in 2018. Winnebago County, Oshkosh B'Gosh, the US Postal Service and
100 N Main lease stalls in these lots. The location of these leased stalls changed slightly with
the new layout. This ordinance simply codifies this implemented layout.
ANALYSIS
We worked with all the affected parties on the new stall layouts and they were satisfied.
FISCAL IMPACT
The fiscal impact of the new stall layout was included in the project costs.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the Common Council approve these modifications to Section 27B of the Municipal
Code pertaining to municipal parking lots.
