HomeMy WebLinkAbout15. 20-179 APRIL 28, 2020 20-179 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: APPROVE AMENDED SPECIAL EVENT/FATHER CARR'S PLACE 2 B /UTILIZE CITY STREETS FOR THE FATHER CARR'S BRIDGE WALK/SEPTEMBER 12, 2020 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council previously approved a special event application from Father Carr's Place 2 B (Sherri Ziemer) to utilize city streets: Robin Way, N. Koeller Street, and Oshkosh Avenue on Saturday,May 30,2020 from 9:30 a.m.to 12:00 p.m.for the Father Carr's Bridge Walk, and WHEREAS, Father Carr's Place 2 B has requested to amend the date of the event date from Saturday, May 30, 2020 to Saturday, September 12, 2020. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that approval is granted to Father Carr's Place 2 B (Sherri Ziemer) to utilize city streets: Robin Way, N. Koeller Street, and Oshkosh Avenue on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the Father Carr's Bridge Walk in accordance with the municipal code and the attached application, with the following exceptions/conditions: A. B. C. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that as a condition of approval, the Event Organizer shall pay the City's actual costs for extraordinary services. Approval of this request shall not be interpreted as approval to conduct the event during any period of emergency order or declaration prohibiting such event. Approval of this event shall not be interpreted to supersede any emergency order or declaration applicable to such event and all events shall remain subject to all applicable ordinances, orders, declarations and requirements for public gatherings.
