Library Board Minutes MINUTES OF THE LIBRARY BOARD Oshkosh Public Library January 30,2020 The Regular Meeting of the Oshkosh Public Library Board of Trustees was held on January 30,2020.The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.by Board president, Christine Melms-Simon. The meeting was held in the Lower Level Meeting Room at the Oshkosh Public Library. Present were: Christine Melms-Simon,Bill Bracken,Kim Molitor,David Romond,Amy Sitter,David Rucker and Julie Davis,Adjunct Board Member. Absent were: Bob Biebel,Vickie Cartwright,Larry Lautenschlager and Lindsey Mugerauer. Others present were: Jeff Gilderson-Duwe,Library Director; Julie Schmude,Business Manager;Lisa Voss, Assistant Director for Library Development and Ruth Percey,Assistant Director for Public Services. Public Comments-There were none Consent Agenda Items: • Meeting Minutes -of the December 19,2019 regular meeting of the library board. • Financial Reports - December 2019 Vouchers Payable - $62,668.07 January 2020 Vouchers Payable - $443,236.08 • Statement of System Effectiveness for 2019 state annual report Motion to approve the Consent Agenda Motion: Romond; Second: Sitter;Vote: Unanimous. New Business: • Ruth Percey,Assistant Director for Public Services—Gave the board information about the 2020 Lakefly Writers Conference. • 2020 trust fund expenditure proposal—Round One Motion to approve the Trust Fund Expenditure proposal—Round One Motion: Sitter; Second: Bracken;Vote: Unanimous. • Annual Report 2019—Was distributed at the meeting and gone over • Library Director Performance/compensation review Director Compensation Committee will now consist of Dave Romond,David Ruckers and Christine Melms- Simon. At the March 26,2020 meeting the committee will present and recommend for director's compensation Library Director's Report: • Joe Bongers was hired as the Head of Information Services Motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting at 4:57 PM.
