Both provisions are extended through May 22, 2020. We are advocating for permanent authorizations of both in May as part of a larger health care package that may include prescription drug pricing reforms. The package also extends funding for outreach and enrollment assistance targeted to low-income Medicare beneficiaries through May 22nd, as well as two years of expanded Medicaid funding for the U.S. territories and a two-year extension of the 7.5% threshold for the Medicaid expense tax deduction.
