Library Board Minutes MINUTES OF THE LIBRARY BOARD Oshkosh Public Library June 27,2019 The Regular Meeting of the Oshkosh Public Library Board of Trustees was held on June 27, 2019. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Board president, Christine Melms-Simon. The meeting was held in the lower level meeting room at the Oshkosh Public Library. Present were: Larry Lautenschlager, Christine Melms-Simon, Lindsey Mugerauer, David Romond, David Rucker, and Amy Sitter. Absent were: Bob Biebel, Bill Bracken, Vickie Cartwright and Kim Molitor. Others present were: Jeff Gilderson-Duwe, Library Director;Julie Schmude, Administrative Coordinator; Lisa Voss, Assistant Director for Library Development;Joann Brewer, Library Assistant II; Ruth Percey,Assistant Director for Public Services; Karla Smith, WALS Integrated Library System Manager;Alexa Naudziunas, Associate Planner—City of Oshkosh; Don Stolley, Venus Bronze Works liason. Public Comments: none Friends of the Library Report: none Venus Bronze Works Report: Don Stolley reported on the conservation visit by Venus Bronze Works during the week of June 4, 2019. Consent Agenda Items: Meeting Minutes - of the May 30,2019 regular meeting of the library board. Financial Reports - Vouchers Payable $343,610.08 Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion: Sitter; Second: Romond; Vote: Unanimous. New Business: Staff Guest—Ruth Percey,Assistant Director for Public Services reported on the 2019 Lakefly Writer's Conference. Resolution of Appreciation for Kristy Bradish for service to the Oshkosh Public Library Board of Trustees. Motion: Sitter; Second: Lautenschlager; Vote: Unanimous. Oshkosh Public Arts and Beautification Strategic Plan: Recommend approval to the common council with the understanding that takes into consideration comments from the board. Motion: Mugerauer; Second: Romond; Vote: Unanimous. Motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting at 5:20 PM. Motion: Lautenschlager; Second: Romond; Vote: Unanimous.
